Pat, I wonder whether you're not familiar with how to move images about on the screen so that you can see all of them. The parish register scan of the 1848 marriage entry for Edward Macaulay and Mary Wheatcroft (where it gives the information that Mary's father was a brass founder) does have the signatures of the 2 witnesses, viz William Wheatcroft and Eliza Ann Wheatcroft (Mary's father and sister ?). I've just found it now.

The same William Wheatcroft witness signature is on Eliza Ann's 1855 marriage entry. I can't read the other one ---maybe M Buchann-- ending in g ? or Buckinn-g
