In the 1851 IOM census, Thomas Vondy and his wife Elinor Vondy and their children Esther (7) and Thomas (5) were living with William Callow(Elinor's father), retired carpenter, at 61 Church Street.
I am investigating James Callow (1791-1852), ropemaker, living next door in Church Street, and believe the Vondy family may be related.
