There was also a Thomas VONDEY buried in Maughold on May 14 1797 [Epis will], and Anne VONDY buried May 31 1772 [als Kermeen in will]. Last child I found was Cath bap 1770, last message, among the ones who died of smallpox. Eldest son Patrick Vondy bap 1752 was mentioned in his grandmother Margt Kermeen als Tear's 1772 will (widow of Patrick Kermeen). Ann Vondy & Margt Kermeen (wife of Patrick her stepson) were both mentioned in the 1758 will of Alice Kirmeen als Cannell.
I followed this family for a while thinking they were/could be my ancestors, until I identified my correct Kermeen family (Corony).
The Vondy family was still in Dale St Ramsey when Ann VONDY, 60, Dale St, Ramsey, was buried in Maughold Jan 23 1866.
