I wonder whether any of my far flung relatives the Corlets of Dominica could have moved there. They were in that Island around the time of emancipation, and in fact one of them valued the slaves at the time they were freed, but apart from some possibly mulatto descendants, the main line of the family disappeared around the 1830's.
