there were presentments eg in 1851 there were abt 50 - 17 of which had affiliations and there were none for Douglas/Braddan as I suspect the wardens had given up the task!
Strictly you want the court judgements - these were the notes on the judgements on the presentments as the actual presentment at this time seldom named the man - he was only named if the woman turned up at court and affiliated the child on him.
I havn't looked at 1859 - each year is a tedious search as the judgements are on slips of paper no index etc but the system was in terminal decline and not sure if survived into the 1860's
