Hi Sue
Thanks for the info; not sure who this Daniel Callow married Margaret Christian in 1713/14 Maughold; although I believe there is a connection from our Daniel Callow to Maughold; even if he married & was buried in Bride. I'm pretty sure the Daniel Callow mentioned in both wills of Margaret Camaish dau 1770 & mother 1772 is this one; (thanks to Donna for the MI)
Buried In Bride Old Churchyard Grave # 110;
"Sacred to the memory of DANIEL CALLOW who departed this life on the 2nd day of December 1812 in the 88th year of his age
Also in memory of MARY CRENNILL alias CALLOW daughter of the above who departed this life on the 24th day of February 1853 in the 82nd year of her age"
That puts Daniel born c 1724 & given the will summary of Elizabeth Callow alias Joughin 1774, I thought he is likely this one:
IGI record
"DANL CALLOW* Male Christening: 15 AUG 1726 Maughold, Isle Of Man, England
Parents: Father: JOHN CALLOW
Messages: Extracted birth or christening record for the locality listed in the record. The source records are usually arranged chronologically by the birth or christening date

C038171 1849-1883 0106183
Although I know the IGI is not always 100%, I have made a note in the family tree that "The above* is the only Daniel CALLOW recorded on the IGI as being christened anywhere in the Isle of Man during the period 1720-1730"-
As you may have seen I posted a reply that included this will summary I thought reinforced the connection of Daniel to John & Elizabeth Callow

(The Wiliam Callow "to be taken care of" listed in the will summary, is also in the lists of poor which are found on Frances' Manx Note Book; they recieve benefits from the Bride parish as set out below):

There have long been suggestions of a link between this Callow family & a branch of the Christian family; Daniel's sister Elizabeth married a William Christian (1769) so there is something in the connection. As I said before it is Daniel's line that we are wanting to clarify back further & that has been helped by sorting out these relationships
Thanks again for your help
