My spreadsheet of 265 Boyd/Boyde/Boddaghs etc of the Ballaugh area has no David's. I've a Daniel born somewhere between 1819 and 1822, but I guess that's not much help.

IGI (FamilySearch.org) lists only 1 David Boyd for +/- 20 years c1820 for the Isle of Man. He was born 1788 in German Parish and married Ann Bedin in about 1813 at Kirk German. These details were submitted by a user.
