My great, great grandfather's, Joseph Boyd, death certificate states his father's name was David Boyd, born Isle of Man. Joseph Boyd was born 1842 in Canada. Assuming the information regarding his father is correct I would guesstimate that his father, David Boyd, was born around 1820 +/- 5 years. That is all the information I have concerning David Boyd.
