i am the great grandson of Robert Callin, born
27 September 1859, Patrick died Apr 1934 in Douglas
and Margaret Callin ( Vick ) born Jun 1861, died May 1934 on the IOM.

If anyone has information on Robert Callin I would appreciate your support.

I am told that Robert Callin joined the Douglas Constabulary and worked his way up to position of Chief Jailer ( gaoler ? ) He was known as the Jovial jailor.

Any further information on my relative would be appreciated.
