Thanks Frances. The only seemingly connected will I could find in Manx Notebook, dated after 1782 (marriage of Jane Garrett and Thomas Corkill) for the names Garrett, Corkill and Quirk is the following, father of Joney Garrett c.1763:

Michael: 1793-1 E312 w GARRETT Dolin d 30 May 1793; Son Philip (eldest - pt of Ballacoain), Wm; wife Ann exex; dau Ann, Joney

Would it be normal for daughter Joney's different surname to appear, if married?
