The certificate should have his full name on it, so you will know whether it is the correct one if you didn't know his wife's name.

I had a look at births on Findmypast with surname Moore, and mother's surname Craymer, and this one has the same Vol. no:

There is a long list of Moores with mother's surname Craymer, so perhaps you could search directories/phone books/electoral rolls etc. to see whether he moved to a different area? The next ones on the list are from Devon:

MOORE Ian C Okehampton Devon 1959 Oct-Nov-Dec
- And then a big gap to 1968.
