Sue, as I only started research this year a visit to the nearest LDS centre was mainly just to see what they had & to see if I could find 2 more recent marriages. On the IOM in Sept I was very pleased with the Manx museum's system. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be, but nevertheless very time consuming. I needed at least another 2 weeks there to glean all the info I wanted. At the moment I have access for a limited period only to genes reunited mainly for the 1911 census . The censuses cover the IOM but the bmd are only England & Wales. The deaths listed are very recent - well into 2000! I haven't found any such recent bmd sites for the IOM . Each night I am trying to find one marriage in England I need on Genes reunited but it is hard going. His name is Philip Arthur Jackson Moore or Arthur Philip Jackson Moore & he md any time from 1952 to 1962 probably in the south rather than the north of England. I thought the LDS centre might make this reseach easier. K
