I suggest you try to get a mailing address, for the church building, or for someone connected with the family history center.

Our local family history center has very limited hours because of the small numbers of people who actually use the facility (as so much is available on the internet now). However, they will open the library by appointment, especially for those who are from out of town, or have difficult-to-accomodate work schedules, etc.
