Yes, I agree Jean, that Carol needs to look at the names on the marriage cert before she can solve her Margaret Cole mystery, but first she needs to buy at least one of the birth certs for Margaret's children to see what surname was given there. They are far easier to identify on FreeBMD (I gave some in a previous message), and her surname may not be Cohen - or Cole! The marriage entry was just a guess on my part, based on not finding Cole.
