Tim, what I wrote to you in my message yesterday was accurate. Please read the full transcript which is online at:
lawsonsiom.freevar.com/Marr_cont/1720_01.html.
The reference given on my transcript is also correct, as given in the Maughold index. At that time Maughold Marriage Contracts were entered under Southside Sales, and therefore need to be found in the Southside index by people using the LDS films (a different film to Northside).
As Frances wrote under a map of the parishes showing which were Northside and which were Southside:
“Note Onchan was moved to Middle in 1796 when Maughold started to be listed with Northside parishes - however even after 200 years locals still feel that Maughold is not truly part of the Northside.”

Ian Radcliffe wrote "The map reflects the physical boundary of the hills, so it would have been for convenience of travel in those distant days".
In their Maughold book Constance & Bill Radcliffe wrote that people from Maughold and Braddan often married each other, because the distance between the two by horse or foot was surprisingly small.
William Christian & Margaret Corkill married in Braddan on 6th Oct.1719.
