Hello Tim,

The Christian CANNELL als CHRISTIAN who was buried in Maughold on Dec 27 1806 was the daughter of William Christian, Ballafayle, Maughold, & Margaret Corkill (whose father Peter Corkill had moved from Braddan to Maughold and bought part of Ballafayle). Christin was bapt in Maughold Parish Church on 18 Jun 1721 (not in Lezayre).

Maughold par reg: John Cannall of Kk Lonan & Christiana Christian married 13 Sep 1741. Marriage contract. Their son Robert was bapt in Maughold on 3 Jan. 1744/45.

I put the information about Christian/Cannells on the board in March, and since then Averil has obtained marriage contracts and wills which support that March posting.

Whoever wrote the tree seems to have confused Maughold and Michael, and muddled up different families' records.
