James could not be the son of James Callow and Esther Lord. Their James was christened in 1788 before the 1791/1852 James was born.

I am the Great Great Great Grandson of James Callow and Eleanor (Ellen) Cain via their daughter Eleanor Jane and Thomas Beckett Entw(h)istle.

I believe Eleanor Cain was from the same family as Thomas Henry Hall Caine a Manx author of repute in the late 19th century. Can anyone help to identify the relationship please?
