Thank you Sue for the marriage details you posted. I am still having trouble finding a connection with my great grandfather HARRY NICHOLAS and his life in the Isle of Man. All the information that has been posted so far has drawn a blank. I have very little information relating to Harry, he was born in Bishops Castle, Shropshire 1871. He married Rachel Davies in 1892, Shrewsbury, Shropshire. He was listed on the 1901 census as living with his family in Chester, Cheshire. On the 1911 census he is listed as living in Braddan IOM. Harry was a tailor by trade and I know he died in Braddan Infirmary 24 April 1942, age 71 I have a copy of HARRY's death certificate but sadly it has not provided any relevant information to progress further into his life and/or family in the IOM

I don't know if there are any living relatives living in the IOM, but I would welcome any information relating to HARRY NICHOLAS. Mabe it is not to late to find someone who may have known him!
