I may have the Ireland link to the Lawson family that you are seeking. My mother and a few others started researching the Lawson family about 20 yrs ago.. They found two brothers who came to Pennsylvania then Virginia out of Ireland. I remember that much of the lineage. There was a third brother that joined them a few years later...if my memory serves me right..the time frame was about 1725. The brothers moved from Va. to Rowan County NC and from there branched into Tennessee and South Carolina settling Lawson fork creek...which is now Spartanburg SC. I am from Spartanburg county.

My mother passed away 8 yrs ago and my father passed April of this year. My sister has control of all the papers and memoirs of my mothers research.
