Thomas Hardin Lawson and wife, Elizabeth had 13 children...name which repeats often in this family is Shadrach. In addition to IOM...this Lawson family may have had connections in Northern Ireland. Does this family have its roots in IOM as stated to me??? There are numerous Shadrach Lawsons circa 1750-1850 in the American Colonies/States. In the mid-1800's...this Lawson family married into the Murrell family originally from East Anglia, England. (Bury St. Edmonds) The Murrells had also married into Dodds/Dodson/Dotson family, of early Jamestown, Virginia.
