I suggest you try and have a look at the 1851 Census, to see what the occupations of the couple were, and where on the estate they were living.

Balladoole included the mansion house, farm house, no doubt many croft houses and cottages, at one time there was also a mill. It was one of the few Manx estates (it was a bit too grand to call it a "farm" ) which ran over the parish boundary and straddled Malew and Arbory. So try both parishes in the census!!
