There seem to be a number of Robt Chas CAIN's running around the Island about that time and this one would appear not to be ours. We lose our Robt Chas after the 1881 census where he appears as a thirteen year old. Doesn't seem to be in Lawson's burial index anywhere so guess that's that on him for the time beng. Had pretty mucn come to that conclusion anyway but I'm sure what you've provided will be someone else's missing link.
