Hope you are still reading this board. I notice that your Esther Bridson was a daughter of Paul Bridson and Jane Cannell.
I've been re-reading my Bridsons and I think [but not 100% sure] that they are the parents of my James Bridson.
Looking at the 1851 census it shows
James Bridson m 36 carter b Santon
Elizabeth " m 38 b Andreas
Elizabeth " 9 b Andreas

So daughter Elizabeth was born in Andreas which is where her mother Elizabeth Kneen originated from also.

I have been unable to find any census record for James, Elizabeth and dau Elizabeth for the 1841 census. I wondered if they were living with Elizabeth's mother [also Elizabeth Kneen] but I can't find any trace of her either.

Sorry for going on a bit but I wondered if you had any info [Wills etc] on the parents of both Esther and James.

If you can help at all it would be appreciated.
