Can anyone help answer a query I have received from a lady who lives in the U.S.A.

She tells me she suffers from Dupuytren's disease, also known as Vikings disease,she also say's there is evidence the Vikings were in Minnesota long before the English found the east coast.
As she has mixed heritage including Manx,and is distantly related to me her question is,is it in
my family,or is it a disease we have on the I.O.M.
Is Dupuytren disease really connected with the Vikings?
