Thanks, Mike.
I've had a look at the Vic records which show:
Unassisted Immigration to Victoria
Index of Inward Passenger Lists for British, Foreign and New Zealand Ports 1852-1923
Family Name First Name Age Month Year Ship Port Fiche Page
QUAYLE R H MR 28 MAY 1901 SUEVIC B 671 006
QUAYLE S M MRS 20 MAY 1901 SUEVIC B 671 007
So the Suevic arrived in Victoria in May 1901 (you'd need to look at the fiche to get other details about the passengers, as well as the exact date in May). Perhaps it went on to Sydney and then to NZ? The "B" means it arrived from Britain.
But on the NSW website I can't find any passenger lists after the 1800s, and the first "Suevic" I found is for 1919 Sep (no passengers listed).
I also tried the Google method they gave without success. Could you please give me the whole URL for the result? Thanks.
Sue
