Meg, i hope this isn't asking too much, but would your mother recall her grandfather speaking of his younger brother Albert and sister Catherine after the death of their father Henry in 1883. These 2 were 9 and 12 years of age at the time. We wondered if maybe Thomas cared for them until they were of age and immigrated to canada as he would have been 25 years old.
