I think you have it mostly correct.
My original census transcripts were done from microfilms but I am now using microfiche which are much clearer. Using the Daugherty information I went back and checked and I think the correct 1871 information is:
1871, Andreas, district 1, schedule 77, Branse
John Daugherty, head, married, 33, agricultural labourer, Bride,
Jane, wife, married, 38, Bride
Thomas Corkish, step-son, 12, Andreas
Ann Jane Daugherty, daughter, 3, Andreas
John, son, 1, Andreas
I had originally transcribed Corkish as Corkill which is why I hadn't found him earlier.
