Jacob Lamerz married Catherine Ward in Liverpool 1866 and had one son there. By 1870 Henry Lakmers ( Lamas, Lahmers ) was born in Douglas . I think it was this Henry who married Helena.

The 1881 census shows two famillies in N.John Street with the names Lamas and Lahmers, I think the head of each family are brothers from Bremer in Germany.

Henry Lahmers died 1909 and Helena appears to have remarried , see Brian Lawson's BMD index.
