The Manx Museum holds a copy of the Dictionary of Shipwrecks off the Isle of Man. Why not contact them, if it is the correct area. I have used this to research the sinking of the Albatross. As Francis says, there is no source of reference. However, in the case of the Albatross, there is a good report in the Ramsey Courier, to back it up. Local papers to wherever the Kirkham sank could well be the same.
