Hello there - I am trying to piece together a picture of my father harold william corkill,as a young man. He attended KWC between 1926-31 and was popularly known as 'tony' (I have no idea why). He died when I was only three and I know little about him, other than that he was a Major both in the Royal Artillery and the T.A. He was mentioned in despatches but I don't know why? Can anyone help please? Does anyone out there have a grandfather still alive (around 90 years old) who might remember my father? I know its a long shot but I would love to be able to speak or write to someone who knew my father.
