Other Internment Camps and Establishments

This page provides convenient links to various reports etc concerned with civilian internment camps or establishments other than Knockaloe, Douglas and other on-Island establishments. A common format is to use one or more of the visitation reports produced by the Neutral power at the time representing German and/or Austro-Hungarian interests found within the voluminous FO 383 series of files held at the UK National archives. It is a work in progress having been severely hampered by Covid restrictions.
