These postcards of views along the Marine Drive were issued as sets of 12 postcards in some 6 series between the opening of the Tramway and 1906 ( the titles of several altered over the series and 2 views were replaced in some sets) - the monochrone set with a near square photograph on a white card with identical red headings was the first, the later issues used the same photographs coloured and arranged to fit a standard postcard format (the last issue had a very prominent large red seal of the three legs of Man obscuring part of the view which considerably detracted from the appearance of the card) . Produced by Hildesheimer of London & Manchester though the cards were printed in Germany - the directions on the reverse were in both English and Manx. The following show some of the cards.
