John R Oliver was a Physician born c.1821 Lisburn Ireland and a graduate of Edinburgh University - in 1861 census living with wife (Elizabeth born Manchester)and three children in Athol Street Douglas - all children born London though a large gap between eldest 2 (12 + 13 yrs)and the 1 year old daughter. Had 3 servants, footman, cook and housemaid.
