Vincenzo Maria Coronelli (Marc Vicent Cornielle) (1650-1718), Cosmographer to the Republic of Venice 1685; Franciscan Friar and General of the Order 1701. Founded the Academia Cosmografica degli Argonauti (first geographical society) 1680.

This is the second map he did of the Isle of Man - the first was in 1697, like this based on Jansson (who had based his on Speed). Published in Teatro della Guerra 1706
