THE King to all bailliffs, &c., to whom, &c., greeting. being desirous of continuing our gracious favor to the men of the Isle of Man, who have hitherto adhered to us and to our faithful subjects, and still adhere, and who faithfully hold themselves in fealty and peace, we command you in no wise to inflict any injury, hinderance, annoyance, damage, or loss upon the men aforesaid, coming peaceably to your parts, neither when coming, sojourning, or when returning to their own country.

In testimony of which, etc. To last to the feast of the Nativity of our Lord next ensuing. Witness as above.

REX omnibus ballivis, etc., ad quos, etc., salutem. Volentes homines Insulæ de Man qui nobis et fidelibus nostris hactenus adhæserunt et adhuc adbærent et ad fidem et pacem nostram fileliter se tenent, favore prosequi graciouo, vobis mandamus quod homines prædictos cum ad partes vestras cos venire contigerit amicabiliter pertractantes, eis in veniendo, morando sen. ad partes proprias redeundo, non inferatis sen. quantum in vobis est, ab aliis inferri permittatis injuriam, molestiam, dampnum, impedimentum, aliquod sen. gravamen. In cujus, etc., usque ad Festum Natalis Domini proximo futurum duraturas. Teste ut supra.
