TEN marks were paid by the king at the Tower of London, on Sunday, the feast of the Holy Trinity to Stephen de Oxford, for conducting the King of Mann into his own country.*
* This sum was paid on the occasion of Reginald's visit to London to do fealty to King John. A silver mark was worth 13s. 4d.
