Thirteen members attended. Miss K. Maddrell was elected a member.
Mr, Lace read a paper on 'Spiders in the Isle of Man.' He had set the school children at Santon to collect, and forwarded the specimens to Dr. ,Jackson, Chester, who identified 21 species of Araneae, or true spiders, and five Opiliones, or harvesters. Of the first, one appeared to be new to the Island, viz., Ponhomma pygmatum.
Mr. Kermode submitted a list of Mammals native to the Island, with notes. They only made a total of 15 species, including Cetacea.
Mr. W. Cubbon drew attention to the ruined Keeill on Rhenshent, Malew, which had suffered grievous damage during the year.
