By the directions of the Lord Comrs of his Majesty's Treasury I transmit to your Grace Copy of a Memorial of the Comrs of the Customs and Letter accompanying the same, relating to the great Smugling Trade now carried on from the Isle of Man. My Lords are pleased to desire your Grace will lend yr Assistence to the Officers of this Majts Customs in endeavouring to Supprress this Enormous fraud upon the publick Revenue.
