A footpath has been made from the to the East garden door (Castle Mona) which was much needed,as visitors complained much of the heavy walking on the sands, which they thought a great drawback to East Mona Crescent. The peoneys have flowered to perfection and there is a Poppy "with a flower as big as the crown of my hat." and "the Spice Islands cannot exceed the delicious scent that the Stocks send forth".
