Remarks (Additional) on the I.O.M. Author not stated covers Taubman's efforts to persuade the people that the Keys were not legally elected - made because the Keys would not do as he wished - and his persuading a party of farmers under Mr.Harrison to insist, with threats, upon their right to listen to the debates in the House. Also the question of the right of the Duke to goods cast up by the sea,and the justice of giving the Duke increased compensation. |
