WRECKS. 1747,

Insula Mone The Charge of the Customs of Ingates and Outgates, Herring Customs, Wrecks, &c, for the year, commencing at the Feast of St, Michael the Archangel in the year of our Lord God 1746, and ending at the said Feast in the year 1747.
Inter alia An Accompt of Wrecks at Sea, Anno 1747.

To a boat found at sea, and brought into Garwick in Kirk Lonnan, appraised to 9s. sold for 9s. 6½d. paid salvage 3s. remains	0 6 6½
To a piece of timber thrown in at Kirk Lonnan, praised and sold for	0 1 9
To a a piece of a cock-boat found at sea, and brought in at Kirk Lonnan, appraised to 1s. 8d. sold for 3s, paid salvage 6½d. remains	0 2 5½
To a cock-boat found at sea, and brought into Laxey, appraised to 9s. sold for 11s, 1d. paid salvage 4s. 6d. remains	0 6 7
To a cask found wrecked at Kirk Bride by John Cowle, appraised to 1s 6d.	0 1 6
Sum total of the Wrecks is	0 18 10
