T A Brew comments

Southwards started the Sulby Glen Woollen mills and extended them over the years; they just started weaving in a shed near the Starch Mills, and then started to build the woollen mills.here we find a story of perseverance amongst the family over the years saving, extentending, improving, and then in 1956 we find the machinery broken up and sold as scrap.
