SANTON.

SANTON, in the Middle Sheading, is the smallest parish in the island, being about 3½ miles long and 1½ broad. It is bounded on the east and south by the sea, on the west by Malew, and on the north by Braddan. The parish church is situated on the old road from Douglas to Castletown, about four miles north from the latter, dedicated to St. Anne. The living is a vicarage in the gift of the Crown, and held by the Rev. R. Airey. There are also places of worship for Wesleyans and Primitive Methodists.
