[From Letters of Bishop Hildesley]

Letter LXLI

February 23, 1772.

The chair and the boy are just arrived together, without hurt or damage of any sort. Hetty likes the Throne (161) mightily, but, as to my part, I think it a gewgaw piece of vain show. I find you have not seen the boy, you are so taken up.

Pray be so good as to deliver the enclosed cash to Mr Barker, together with my thanks, to supply what. will still be short of compensation for his trouble. And I think it is high time also that you should send in your bill, for trouble given by your constant customer

M. Sodor & Mann.

Thank God! though not strong, I am not worse. I am glad to hear you are able to get to work again.

(161)—Probably an episcopal seat for the chapel at Bishopscourt.
