May 1713 This day it is agreed upon betwixt Willm: Ka[rran] and Jane Comish his wife of Cregneaze, in the parish of KK Christ Rushen on the one part and the other partners of the sd tenemy of Creg[neash] viz Willm: Gawn, Hen Gawn & Hen Waterson all of the sd parish on the other part, that is to say forasmuch as the sd Willm Kar[ran] and Jane his wife formerly possess'd a certain parcel of land part of the sd tenemt known by the name of Gary More with the grazin[g] of two horses, the one moity of wch graz[ing] being the right of the sd Wm & Jane, have exchanged the sd half Garry More with the appurtances thereof ^ & aquitted the sd grazing^ from us our Honble tnmts & assignes ; unto the above named parties their heirs & assignes for a nother parcell known by the name of the Souer ? close and this in the penalty of five pounds sterl to be paid in nature of all other fines, As witn[ess] our sevrl marks & names this day & year [] above sd Jane Comish x Wm Gawn x Hen Wat[erson] Wm Karran x Hen: Gawn x We the setting quest of KK Christ Rushen bei[ng] by authority charged to the place in diffferance to make division twixt the above name[d] parties do certify the truth of the above agre= ment Witness our marks & names the day of [] the date above sd Jon Clucas x Thos Gawn x Wm Killey x Jon Cottier x [sworn 27 Oct 1714 + passed through sheading court 17 Oct 1715]
