Ewan Looney to Edward Shimin

Know all men by theise presents,  that wee Ewan Lowney, and my wife
Issable; Divers causes, & valuable consideracons, us thereunto moving,
but espetially; for & in consideration, of the full, whole, & intire Summ,
of fifteen Shillings of good & lawfull money of England first in hand [obscured]
by our well beloved friend & neighbour: Edw Shymin & his wife Issable
Have wth the consent of  Wm Kinley, & his wife Margarett; who have had in
consideration of their right, the full Sum of five Shills of like money,
Have hereby alienated, bargain’d, & Sold; And do hereby alienat, bargain,
and Sell, unto the aforesd Edw Shymin, and his wife Issable, their heires,
executrs administratrs & assignes; All that nMesuages, or Tenement ofA
houses, & garden, wch if part of the Tenement, Now in the possession of
him the sd Edward of the yearely rent of  eight pence situate in the
town of Balla salla, with all Easmts, wayes, watercourses, & lybertyes,
there unto belonging, or in any wayes appertaining for ever, In consideration
of the premises, & for the better assurance hereof; Wee the sd Ewan Lowney,
and Issable my wife, do bind us, our heires; executrs administratrs 
or assignes to keep & defend them, the sd Edward & his wife Issable,
their heires, or assignes for ever; do & from all manner of
persons claiming any title or interest to the premises; And do alsoe
hereby draw?, the Right worspfl officers confirmation here unto
As witness our marks to our names this 21st of  9br [November] 1706
in penallly of double the value, the one half, to our Honble Lord,
and the other part, or half to the sd Edw Shymin & wife theire
heires, executrs administratrs  & assignes

                Att a Court holden in Castle Rushen the
                29th Nov 1706
Ewan Lowney Issable Lowney and Wm Kinley came
into Court and acknowledged the above Bargane
to be their act & Deed, whereupon the Same
is allowed of and confirmed according to the
Statute provided in that behalfes
