Thos Kinley to Henry Waterson Sale

Know all Men by these presents that I
Thomas Kinley of the Parish of KK Christ Rushen
with the Consent of my Wile Catharine Kinley
alias Nelson for Divers reasons and Good
Considerations us hereunto Moving but more
Especialy for & in Consideration of  the Full &
Just Sum of Fourteen pounds Fourteen
Shillings Mans & Currency of this Isle To us
in hand paid, by at and from the hands of
Henry Waterson of the aforesaid Parish
Have Given Granted Bargained Passed
over and for ever absolutely Sell from us
the Said Thomas Kinley and Catharine
Kinley our Heirs Exrs Admrs and assigns
unto him the Said Henry Waterson his Heirs
Exrs Admrs & Assigns all our Right Tytle
property and Interest in & into a Certain
Moiety or a Daymouth of Land situated
near Castletown in a Field called Quays
Field Adjoyning the Rent of Thos Quay
in the West and to the Rents of Wm Farrent
& John Shimmin in the East wch Said moiety
of Said premises were Bequeathed to my 
Wife Catharine Kinley alias Nelson
by her Uncle William Nelson of the
Parish of Malew wch may more fully 
and at Large appear by his Will

of the annual Lords Rent & as the same Doth
now bear, To have & to hold unto him
the said Henry Waterson his heirs Exrs
Admrs & assigns The Before Bargained
premises Commencing possession from
the Date hereof with all and singular the
[obscured by fold] & appurtenances thereof
as ways waters & water courses Easements
libertys Emoluments profits & advantages
to the same Belonging or in any wise – 
appertaining.  he the said Henry Waterson
paying the Yearly Lords Rent, with all other
Boons, Dues Duties suits and services
yearly incumbent upon the same at the
times and seasons usually accustomed
within this Isle and We the sd Thos Kinley
and Catharine Kinley Do further Covenant
and Agree and hereby Firmly Bind & oblige
ourselves our heirs Exrs Admrs & assigns
to uphold warrant and Defend  the said
Bargained premises unto him the said
Henry Waterson his heirs Exrs Admrs &
Assigns agt the pretended right claim
challenge or Demand of any Person or
Persons whatsoever Sueing Claiming or
pretending Tytle thereto, by from or under
us, or either of us, and Do every other matter
and thing Necessary in Law for the Strength=
=ing and sure making of the said premises

And for the True and faithfull Performance
Thereof & of all and singular, The Premises we
the said Thomas Kinley and Cathrn Kinley
my Wife Do hereby bind and Oblige our=
selves our Heirs Exrs Admrs and Assigns in
and under The penalty and Forfieture of Thirty
Pounds Sterling to be Levied and fined according
to and practice of this Isle in Testimony
whereof we have hereunto subscribed our
Names and Marks This 7th July 1792

Thomas Kinley and Cath:Kinley the
executing Parties to the before written Deed 
of Sale acknowledged the same to be their
proper Act and Deed and to be paid the
Consideration money therein mentioned
        Before me
            Norris Moore
    
    At a Court Baron holden at the House of Jas Brew in Ballsalley for
    Rushen Sheading the 31st day of May 1793

The before written Deed of Sale being Acknowledged before the High Bailiff
and now openly published in Court & no Objection offered against
it The same is therefore allowd of and ordered to be recorded
for the benefit of all persons concerned
