Know all Men by these presents
that I John Bell of Ballaquayle in ye parish of
KK Mallew, Divers good causes me hereunto moving,
but more chiefly for, & in consideration of ye full
 & Just Sum of twenty pounds Currency of this – 
Isle, already paid to me in hand ye Receipt – 
Thereof I do hereby acknowledge, at by & from
ye hands of my friend & neighbour John Kinley
of Knockdoo in ye sd parish – Have Given, Granted,
Alienated, passedover & Sold, & doth by these presents
give, grant, Alienate, passover & for Ever absolutely
Sell, from me, my Heyres Execrs admrs & assignes – 
unto him ye sd John Kinley, his Heyres, Execrs – 
admrs & assignes, all my right Tytle, property & - 
interest in & unto a certain of parcle of Abby – 
Farm Land situate in ye sd parish called or known
by ye name of [obscured by fold] ^with ye houses on ye premisses^  [obscured ? of annual] Abby
Rent of one shilling or thereabouts be it more or
less – To Have & to hold unto him ye sd John
Kinley & his Execrs & assignes, ye before granted
premisses, wth all ways, water & water courses,
Easemts, Liberties, profits, advantages and appurten
=ances in any wise belonging & appertaining to
ye same.  yielding & paying ye Annual rent – 
thereof, together wth all other dues, duties Customs,
Boons, Suits & services incombent on ye premisses
at ye usual times & seasons accustomed, and I ye sd
John Bell doth covenant & promise to secure – 
& defend ye premisses unto ye sd John Kinley – 
his Heyres Execrs admrs & assignes, and to – 
awarrant & uphold ye same against all persons – 
pretending Claimes thereunto, & cause ye sd – 
Kinley’s name to be Entered Tenent according
to Law – and doth further Engage to do –

perform, Execute & fullfill any or further
act, Deed or instrument that ye sd John Kinley shall
think necessary, ir that shall be requisite in law
to strengthen these presents, wch to all intents
& purposes is an absolute sale & conveyance of
my right & tytle of ye premisses wch I now have – 
or Forever hereafter shall or may have to ye
same, and for ye punctual & irrevokeable – 
 performance of all all & singular ye promisses,
I ye sd John Bell doth hereby bind & oblige my-
self, my Heyres, Execrs Admrs & assignes in ye
penalty of fourty pounds to levyed according to – 
Law, In Testimony whereof, I have hereunto – 
set my name & mark this fifth day of April – 
1748.

The within and above Bill of Sale
being acknowledged before the Deemster
