Slieu Whallian A hill of 1094 ft overlooking St.John's and Tynwald Hill, and is the northern frontier of the mountain range. On its summit can be seen the blocks of Galloway Granite deposited by glaciers. The mountain is also known as the Witches Hill or Hill of Witness. Suspected witches aere rolled down its slopes in spiked barrels and if alive at the bottom were judged to be witches. However there is no evidence for this story.
Tynwald Hill is entirely artificial and is only twelve feet high (to a small boy it looked more) and is built in circular tiers so would have been very difficult to roll barrels down.
N.B. it takes longer to say Richard so Rick is the preferred option.
