This appears to be a very old posting, from 2005, but I am curious to know if you are still seeking information on a W E McLallin? I have a Gr. Grandfather, Isaac S. McLallin, who was born in 1782 in Vermont or NY. At this point I do not know who his parents were or when they came to the US.
